Cleansers which are Always in my Stash
Out of all the skincare categories, nothing quite gets me like a new cleanser does. Firstly it’s so easy and fast to gauge how a cleanser is working for you, secondly I love seeing a fresh clean face right after I finish cleansing. I’m not sure why but my skin never look as good as when I’ve just washed my face. I have easily 6 to 7 different cleansers in rotation and that’s just the cleanser that I use to wash my skin itself. I’ve got another 4 to 5 makeup removers which I also rotate around.
Anyway, I would like to share with you 2 cleansers which are always in my skincare rotation. They are relatively inexpensive and I love them since my face feels clean and soft after using them. These 2 cleaners have quite different textures and ingredients but the results are the same: bright, smooth clean face without any residue left behind on your skin.
Naruko Tea Tree Purifying Clay Mask & Cleanser in 1
The first cleanser which I would like to recommend is the Naruko Tea Tree Purifying Clay Mask & Cleanser in 1. Now technically this is more of a clay mask than a cleanser. However, I really like to use this when my face is feeling “gunky” after wearing makeup the whole day or the week before my period when my skin gets extra problematic with hormones acting up and all. I can use this either as my morning cleanse or in the evening as my second cleanse after removing my makeup. Sometimes I’ll leave it on for 5 minutes as a flash mask before washing it off and it works well that way too. It has soft jojoba micro beads in it which helps to buff away dead skin cells. My face always looks fresh and glowing after I used it. However, I can’t use this as my only cleanser everyday as I do find it a little drying for daily use. If you have oily skin, you might be able to get away with using it everyday. Ingredients are as below for your reference.

Niks Professional Vitamin A Cleansing Lotion
The next cleanser which I love is the Niks Professional Vitamin A Cleansing Lotion. This is in a soft lotion form which doesn’t lather at all. Lovers of foaming cleansers might not be used to this kind of texture in their cleanser but I can assure you that it cleans beautifully and doesn’t leave any residue. I can use this cleansing lotion to remove very light makeup and it rinses off easily with warm water. I normally reach for this cleanser when I find that my face feels a little dry from my acid toners or retinol treatments. It’s such a gentle non-drying cleanser that doesn’t aggravate the dryness. As usual, ingredients are as below for your reference.
