How does the Trilogy Vital Moisturising Cream fare?
The Trilogy Vital Moisturing Cream is a light creamy moisturiser that I used in my daytime skincare routine. The main reason why I picked up this moisturiser was because it promised to provide immediate nourishment and hydration while being non-greasy. And the fact is that it did deliver on its promise. Even though it has a creamy texture (you definitely wouldn’t mistake it for a gel moisturiser!), it sinks into my face pretty fast and doesn’t leave too much dewiness on the surface. I was liking this product a lot cause it was actually quite fuss-free and moisturises my skin adequately.
However, a spanner was thrown into this situation. I used this product daily for around 2 weeks with seemingly no issues until one day I discovered that I seemed to be getting tiny bumps all over my face. I wasn’t sure if this cream was the culprit so I took it out of my rotation and the tiny bumps on my face went away. I wanted to be absolutely sure that this product was the cause of those bumps so I rotated this product into my routine again. This time, I became sure that this product was the cause of my breakout as I began getting those tiny bumps again. I was pretty bummed that I had this reaction to the product as I honestly couldn’t find anything wrong with its ingredients. I had never reacted to any of the ingredients listed in this moisturiser before so this was quite surprising for me. This goes to show that sometimes you can never really know how your skin will react to certain products until you try it out for yourself. Anyway, I think that this cream is not bad, it’s just not right for me I guess. =[
Where can you find it?
